Funimation and Animelab are streaming the anime series in North America and Australia respectively in its original dub with English subtitles. Meanwhile the anime fans in Asia can use Aniplus to watch the series. Also Wakanim is streaming it in France, Denmark and Russia.
When the English dub for Adachi to Shimamura will premiere?
Sadly, currently there is no official confirmation when the Adachi to Shimamura English dub come out. However, taking in account the fact that Funimation is one streaming the show, who are pretty popular for their simuldubs, it’s relatively safe to say that an English dub will be announced very soon once it has been approved by its producers.
How many episodes will it have?
It has been already confirmed that season 1 of Adachi to Shimamura will run for a total of 12 episodes starting from October 9, 2020 to December 25, 2020. A new episode will come out every friday at 2:00 am JST. Also it might be coincidence or planned that the anime will air its last episode on Christmas.
Plot of the Anime
The story centers around two high school girls, Sakura Adachi and Hougetsu Shimamura who became friends after the encounter on the second floor of the gymnasium. They spent their normal life by talking about their favorite TV shows, cooking and sometimes playing ping-pong, which gradually turns into a friendship.
However, Adachi starts having a special feeling towards Shimamura. Once Adachi’s friendship turns into romantic attraction, the relationship begins to change, one day at a time.
