Fans for years have been waiting for its anime adaptation and their prayers were finally answered when the anime adaptation was officially announced in July 2021. Studio Felix Films, a relatively new studio is animating the series with Tomoe Makino, and Yasutaka Yamamoto serving as chief directors. Takao Yoshioka is handling the series’ scripts and Yuko Yahiro is drawing the character designs. Meanwhile, Satoru Kosaki and MONACA together are composing the music.

As for the English dub, it will be added eventually since both Crunchyroll has a good track record of dubbing each of their original anime. However, it might even take weeks or months. Our best guess is that the Aharen-San wa Hakarenai English dub will release in May 2022.

Aharen-San wa Hakarenai also known as Aharen-San in short is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Asato Mizu. It is published in Shueisha’s ShoneJump+ service since January 2019 and its chapters have Been collected into 12 compiled volumes. An anime adaptation by Felix Films premiered in April 2022.
The series centres on high schooler Raidō and his classmate Reina Aharen, a small and cute student with a quiet voice. Raidō originally feels distant from her. But after picking an eraser for her, he finds this cute girl has a huge problem with determining distance and personal space.
