Akudama Drive Episode 5 Release Date
The fifth episode of Akudama Drive is scheduled to release on November 5, 2020 at 9:30 am JST. The anime will get a new episode every Thursday.
How many episodes will it have?
It has been already confirmed by its producers that the season 1 of ‘Akudama Drive’ will run for a total of 12 episodes starting from October 8 to December 24, 2020.

The episode 4 begins Shinkansen leaving the Kansai station with Akudama boarded on it. They quickly begin their operation to open its vault as they only have 10 minutes available to complete the mission so or else they will enter the decontamination zone which even decomposes organic matter. As they were doing so, the executioners suddenly appears and attacks them.
Courier and Brawler face them but are overpowered. Doctor, Cutthroat and Hoodlum assist them while Ordinary Person and Hacker alongside Black Cat follow their objective. Once they finally reached the last carriage, Black Cat disintegrates into ash, leaving behind a special seal required to unlock the vault. After opening the vault, the Akudama find two children inside with the boy revealed to be the one controlling Black Cat and the orchestrator of the mission.

What is the plot of Akudama Drive?
The story takes place in a dystopian future where a war broke our between ‘Kanto’ and ‘Kansei’ and it divided the world. But at the end of the war, Kansei became a vassal to Kanto.
However, with time Kansei’s government and police force declined, and crime became rampant and gave birth to criminals known as “Akudama.” Now a group of six most wanted Akudama have are working together to carry out missions given to them by a mysterious black cat, while evading the police and executioners.
