Black clover chapter 259 Recap
The chapter showed the eventful end of Asta’s battle against Dark Traid member Dante. The latest chapter starts of with Asta charging his attack towards Dante with his newly found power but the catch it will only last for only 50 seconds. A second more and Asta’s body won’t be able to hold its power. Dante tries to interrupt Asta’s attack by throwing boulders towards him but he somehow manages to dodge them and cuts through Dante’s arm.
Yami once again joins the battle and starts to assist Asta and starts attacking Dante to create a blind spot for Asta to make his move. Fineral who is watching the two from distance is amazed by how Yami and Asta seems to be in a sync while they are moving randomly. Asta calls out his demon dweller sword but Dante gets hold of it before he can, after which he tries to use demon destroyer sword but still fails at hit just when Yami attacks Dante with his dark magic and creates a big hole in his torso.
Yami gives his own katana to Asta which gets coated in Anti-magic. Asta uses the anti-magic katana to slash Dante and kill the King of the Spade Kingdom. We see a flailing and lost Dante in the last panel with the huge cut spanning across his chest.

Dante, the king of Spade Kingdom has been put to rest but what about his demon Lucifero. And is it really safe travels assume Dante is dead. Probably not. In the coming chapter we will either be introduced to Dante’s demon true power or else some of dark disciples might come to take Dante’s body. It kinda wierd for enemy forces leader to die so early in the arc. It will be interesting to see how Yuki Tabata will continue the story in the coming chapter.

Zanon coming in to clean up everything was amazing. Also seems like he has a second magic attribute that’s maybe similar to teleporting. Asta also tried to get his Devil help again but was rejected for being weak. Hopefully everything becomes more clear when the chapter comes out.
