As Asta raises the sword above his head, he reflects that because they are both unloved by mana, they are free to make their own choices. Asta then uses Demon-Slasher: Infinite Slash Equinox, a downward slash that produces a massive Anti-Magic flying slash, which cuts through Lucifero’s monstrous form.
The gravity holding everyone down disappears, and they watch in disbelief as the monster splits into two and the coffins holding Yami and William Vangeance crumble away.
The base reaches out to catch the falling captains, while Asta notes that the katana’s attacks will not harm those whom he wants to protect. Both Yami and Nacht then congratulate Asta.
