Black Clover Episode 165 “Water Crusade”, Release Date: February 23, 2021
Episode 165 will release on February 23rd where Noelle, Mimosa and Lolopechka will confront the Vanica of Dark Triad. The episode will show us the amazing magic powers of Vanica and her devil Megicula.
Official Synopsis: Vanica Zogratis, One of the Dark Triad, appears to Lolopechka, the princess of the Heart Kingdom. Noelle Silva of the Black Bull and Mimosa Vermillion of the Golden Dawn, both of whom had successfully raised their magic level through training, follows the plan that Lolopechka planned in preparation for their attack and together they intercept Vanica.
Hwoever, is it possible to fight Vanica, who possess the power of Megicula, a demon of the highest-ranking, with just regular magic attacks alone.

Black Clover Episode 166 “Captain Yami Sukehiro”, Release Date: March 2, 2021
With Black Clover Episode 166 we will be back to Dante vs Yami & Asta. The first half will consist of the finale of Vanica and Noelle and the aftermath damage on Heart Kingdom and the second half will show us Dante’s overwhelming strength. It will air on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 on TV Tokyo in Japan.
Official Synopsis: The Heart Kingdom continues to fight to the death against Vanica and her men. Simultaneously, the battle between Yami and Dante continue at the hideout of the Black Bull.
Cornered by the overwhelmpingly strong Dante, Yami inflicts a great blow successfully by unleashing powerful magic. But Dante who claims to be immortal, regenerates his body no matter how much damage is inflicted!
Black Clover Episode 167 “Black Oath”, Release Date: March 9, 2021
Black Clover Episode 167 will be a big Episode to look forward to with lots of in-house talent working on it. In the episode, Asta will make a deal with his devil to attain the power to defeat Dante but the exchange comes with a price.
Official Synopsis: The battle of Asta and Yami of the Black Bull has begun and they are surpassing their limits! Despite their injuries, Asta and Yami are able to attack Dante in a team attack.
Asta struggles to keep up with and feels that he is not good enough to live up to Yami’s trust in him. But he decides to use all of his strength, including the power of the devil that resides in his body, to surpass his limits even further than he already has.
Black Clover Episode 168 “Stirrings of the Strong”, Release Date: March 16, 2021
Based on the synopsis of last episode, Episode 168 most likely will adapt chapter 260.
Official Synopsis: As Dante Zogratis has been defeated, Asta starts to collapse after using his power. Yami Sukehiro catches him and compliments him on a job well done.
Finral Roulacase and Vanessa Enoteca rush over and compliment about how fantastic they were. As Gauche Adlai wakes up and wonders what happened, Grey hugs him and is glad that he is okay. Grey notices what she had done and apologizes, and Vanessa wonders what is happening with the two. Suddenly Zenon Zogratis appears beside Yami and skewers the captain on several bones. Yami thinks about how he has messed up and that he cannot move.
Is Black Clover anime ending? When will it return?
Yes, it has been officially announced that the Black Clover anime after more than 3 years of the successful run will end on March 30, 2021, with the release of Episode 170. Moreover, it said that an important announcement will be made after the airing of the last episode which people are speculating to be an original anime movie announcement or the date when the anime will comeback.
As for when it will return, there is no official announcement stating the anime will definitely return but taking into account how popular to series is worldwide, it will be a wasted opportunity to end the series at such early stage. Here is a tweet explaining the situation.
