Now with the end of Kawaki Arc, the Boruto anime is back with an original arc “The Chunin Re-Examination arc” where the young shinobis of Leaf Village are given another chance to become full-fledged chunins. The decision was taken by Naruto due to the recent incidents which have highlighted the need for more qualified ninjas.

Boruto Episode 222 “The Eve Before The Decisive Battle”, Release Date: October 31, 2021
The Episode 222 of Boruto will release on 31st October 2021 where the final round of Chunin Exam will begin where individual shinobis will fight against each other.
Summary: The final test of the Chuunin Exams has been announced: The format will be in individual combat match-ups. Last time, not many candidates remained for the final test. But this time, Boruto and many of the peers from his same class of genin have made it. Each of them is very determined and are starting to make their final preparations. Amongst the finalists are Team 7 – who have a top-ranked track record -, the members of Team 10, and Izuno Wasabi – who has been putting forth a lot of effort into her missions despite the absence of Kakei Sumire.
In addition, the test rules have changed: The use of self-made Scientific Ninja Weapons are permitted. Kaminarimon Denki and Kurogane Tsubaki – a samurai foreign exchange student from the Iron Country – and other finalists have been devoting themselves completely to the development and fine-tuning of their own Scientific Ninja Weapons. And so, there will be many new formidable foes in the final test. Some white-hot battles are about to unfold.
Boruto Episode 223 “Inoji vs Houki”, Release Date: November 7, 2021
The next episode of Boruto is titled “Inojin vs Houki” slated to release on November 7, 2021. As the title suggests the episode will focus on the dual between Inojin and Houki. For those who forgot who he is, Houki is the kid who resembles Kakashi and wears his ninja headband in a similar way.
Summary: At last, the final tests have begun. The first round of the individual combat match-ups will be the battle between Yamanaka Inojin and Taketori Houki. Houki and his comrades from Team 25 have been doing missions with the ANBU up until now – which is rare and usual even amongst their peers. That’s why Inojin doesn’t know what Houki could be scheming, or what tricks that Houki might have up his sleeve. To start things off quickly, Inojin skillfully uses Super Beast Imitating Drawing – which is a Jutsu that is Inojin’s forte. He is then able to drive Houki into a corner.
However, Houki waits for a chance to use his Jutsu. Suddenly, Inojin has completely lost sight of his enemy’s whereabouts and the tables have turned. Who will ultimately be the winner…!? Meanwhile, Boruto and Mitsuki are heading over to the venue for the final tests, since they are supposed to be participating in them. En route, they happen to catch sight of some suspicious-looking people and decide to pursue them.
Boruto Episode 224 “The Legend of Monster Cat”, Release Date: November 14, 2021
The next episode will focus on Wasabi of Team 15. We still don’t know much about this episode such as who her opponent will be, so it’s best to wait for spoilers for more information instead of making wild guesses.
Boruto Episode 225 “A Showdown Between Close Friends”, Release Date: November 21, 2021
With the next episode, we will be back to Chunin Exam where two close friends who we don’t know exactly will face against each other for becoming a chunin. It might be Chocho vs Sarada or Boruto vs Metal Lee.
The episode will air on November 21, 2021, and will be available on Crunchyroll.
Boruto Episode 226 “The Samurai vs Kaguka”, Release Date November 28, 2021
The episode 226 is scheduled to release on November 28, 2021, and as the title suggests the episode will show us the battle between Tsubaki Kurogane the exchange student from Land of Iron and Denki.
Boruto Episode 227 “TBA”, Release Date: December 5, 2021
We don’t know much about episode 227 but going by the previous episodes it seems like that this episode will feature the much-awaited battle of Boruto. We will update the article once we will get the title and synopsis. Who do you think will be his opponent in the finals? Will it be Mitsuki or Metal Lee?

You can watch the latest and all previous episodes of Boruto on Crunchyroll, VRV, VIZ in its original Japanese dub with embedded English subtitles. Meanwhile, you can watch the English dub through Funimation and Animelab but they are currently way behind the schedule, so it will take quite some time for these episodes to get dubbed.
