As Kawaki officially joins the Team 7 the Boruto anime has moved to its next original arc titled “The Great Sea Battle of Kirigakure Arc” where the Team 7 has been given the task to escort Katasuke to the Land of Water to attend a ceremony. There they are joined by an old friend Kagura. However, they are suddenly attacked by a Terrorist group that holds grudge against the Land of Water.
The new arc looks very promising with many new faces showing up and a darker tone of the story so far and fans are very excited to know what will happen in the upcoming episodes.

Summary: In the midst of the ceremony that was being conducted in the Land of Water, an airship suddenly gets blown up. Once Boruto finds out about the incident, he tries to immediately head over to the scene of the crime. But right at that same moment, someone has launched jid an attack upon the prison that Boruto is currently visiting.
Together with Kagura, Boruto decides to go and engage the enemy head-on. Even though they had finally just been reunited with one another – since it had been quite a long time since they last met during Boruto’s school field trip – Boruto and Kagura form a united front. Will the two of them be able to thwart their enemy’s scheme to break out Funato Araumi, who is currently jailed at the facility and is the leader of a pirate gang?

Synopsis: The neighbouring seas of the Land of Water Country have gotten taken over by pirates. Denki and the others from Team 5 have become unable to make contact with Dotou Island, which was where they were conducting their ore mining mission. In order to rescue everyone from the island and support Team 5, the New Team 7 and another group – one that’s spearheaded by Kagura – head over to Dotou Island. However, the members of that group used to refer to themselves as “The New Seven Shinobi Swordsmen.”
When Boruto and his teammates once went on a school field trip, a fight unfolded between them and three of their members: Kurosuki Buntan, Hebiichigo, and Fuefuki Kyohou. Even though Boruto’s group is wary of them due to their criminal history, they decide to cooperate with one another. As Sarada and Mitsuki make landfall as part of the reconnaissance group, the other members of the team decide to investigate the situation in the area around the island.
Boruto Episode 236 “Escape “, Release Date: February 13, 2022
In episode 236 of Boruto, The Team 7 and the members of Kagura’s team investigate the Datou island. However, they confront an unknown threat and tries to leave the island.
The episode will air on 13th February 2022 on TV Tokyo in Japan and Crunchyroll for the rest of the world.

Episode 214 titled “A Mobile Fortress” is set to release on February 20, 2022. The contents of the episode are currently unknown but based on the title of the episode will focus on a “Mobile Fortress” most likely suspended in the air.
