It has been announced that the series will be animated by JC Staff. Combatants Will Be Dispatched! is a Japanese light novel series, written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kakao Lanthanum. Kadokawa Shoten have published six volumes since November 2017 under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint.

A manga adaptation with art by Masaaki Kiasa has been serialized in Media Factory’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive since March 2018. It has been collected in six tankōbon volumes.
