The new reboot began broadcasting on April 5 and is expected to run for a total of 50 or more episodes. The Digimon Adventure 2020 episode 6 is scheduled to premiere on July 12, 2020 at 9 am JST. Digimon Adventure 2020 Episode 6 Preview and Spoilers
Tachi and his friends arrive at the temple where they meet with one of the ancient demons who fought against dark Digimon in the past. They won the war but are concerned that dark forces once again will start moving. That’s why Tachi and other kids are “chosen” to fight against the uprising dark forces along with their Digimon partners.
However, they are suddenly attacked by a horde of Digimon who looks similar to spiders. The enemy forces are lead by Ogremon. Before disappearing, the ancient Digimon asks Tachi to towards the cloud continent and find the Holy Digimon, who will be the key to fight against darkness. Piyomon then transforms into Birdramon and breaks down the barrier and Agumon evolves into Greymon and attacks them.
Meanwhile, Toshiro and Tentamon are attacked by a group of Tylomon who are being controlled by Soundbirdmon. To protect Toshiro, Tentamon evolves into Kabuterimon and fights back.
As per the above preview, the next episode is titled “The Targeted Kingdom”. In the upcoming episode, Tachi will meet with Mimi one of the chosen children who protect small Digimon against the big predators.

Digimon Adventure 2020 is reboot to first Digimon Adventure Television anime which aired in 1999 followed by Digimon Adventure 2 in 2000-2001.
Toei animation is producing the 2020 reboot with Masato Mitsuka as director. Atsuhiro Tomioka (Inazuma Eleven, Pokémon, One Piece, Beyblade Burst) is credited with script supervision. Original Digimon Adventure‘s Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru returns to draw character designs.
The new anime takes place in 2020 and features an all-new story centering on Taichi Yagami when he is in his fifth year in elementary school. His partner is Agumon. The story begins in Tokyo when a large-scale network malfunction occurs. Taichi is preparing for his weekend summer camping trip when the incident happens. Taichi’s mother and his younger sister Hikari get stuck on a train that won’t stop moving, and Taichi heads to Shibuya in order to help them. However, on his way there, he encounters a strange phenomenon and sweeps him up into the Digital World along with the other DigiDestined.
