Heads-up fans of comedy and romance cause Nanashi’s Don’t Toy with me, Miss Nagatoro (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) manga is getting a TV anime. An official website was launched to announce the anime adaptation along with a teaser visual, main cast members and lead staff.
The above visual portrays our tanned and flirty- Senpai Nagataro who will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka (who recently voiced Kyrie Canaan in the Japanese dub of Final Fantasy VII Remake). She commented on her role as, “When I first saw Nagatoro for the first time, I was shocked by her devilishness, but I was shocked again also by her sudden cuteness. I’ll do my best to express her various charming aspects!”
Don’t Toy with me, Miss Nagatoro anime will be animated by Telecom Animation Film (Tower of God) with Hirokazu Hanai as director. Meanwhile Taku Kishimoto (Erased, Fruits Basket, Haikyu!) is incharge of script writing with Misaki Suzuki drawing the character designs. Gin who previously worked on Pop Team Epic and Why the Hell are you here Sensei? is composing the music.
Kodansha USA who publishes the manga in English imprint and digitally describes its story as:
“Nagatoro is a freshman in high school who loves teasing and torturing her older male classmate! What’s her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her? Does Nagatoro just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?”
Sadly, Don’t Toy with me, Miss Nagatoro didn’t revealed its release date or any sort trailer or teaser during the announcement.
Written and drawn by Nanashi, Don’t Toy with me, Miss Nagatoro (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) is a Japanese manga serialized in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since November 2017. As of today its individual chapters has been compiled into seven volumes with eighth volume scheduled to ship on July 9.
