@AIR_NEWS01 recently shared a promo trailer and new visual from Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou Season 3 offering first look at the coming season.

The new Danmachi visual displays Bell and the mysterious girl that appeared at the end of Season 2’s last episode. The mysterious girl is named Vouivre a dragon girl who is prey to both humans and monsters.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou Season 3 release date is scheduled for July 2020. Unfortunately, the we still don’t when the show will exactly premiere. Although it most likely will release in the first week of July.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou Season 3 Plot

The upcoming season will start with adapting volume 9.


The story will begin with Bell as he reaches the new area in the dungeon known as the Large Tree Labryinth. There he meets the dragon girl Wiene. Able to speak and hunted by both Humans and monsters, Bell decides to protect the poor lonely girl.

“A dragon girl…a fine jewel in a long time”
The creeping hands of the ruthless hunters, the unoverturnable friction between Humans and monsters, and the true head of the Guild makes his move. The city is thrown into turbulence over a single dragon girl.

Staff at J.C. Staff will return to animate the project and cast is expected to reprise their roles.

About Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou

Written by Fujino Ōmori and Illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?)is a Japanese light novel series. As of December 2018, 14 volumes have been released.


J.C. Staff adapted the same into a 13 episode anime Series in 2015.

J.C. Staff also animated the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Sword Oratoria spin-off Nobel by Omori into a anime series which premiered in April 2017.

The story also inspired Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?:Arrow of Orion anime movie which was screened in Japanese theaters on February 15 2019.

Yen press is publishing the English Release of Original novel along with the spin-off and respective manga adaptation.

Both two seasons and anime movie is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Season 1 also available on Netflix.

“The story follows the exploits of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old solo adventurer under the goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, he works hard every day in the dungeon to make ends meet while seeking to improve himself. He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life, and with whom he fell in love.
