Edens Zero Anime Adaptation Reportedly in Work: Release Date, Trailer, Plot, Characters & Other Details

Yes, you heard it right. According to the latest report on twitter, Edens Zero written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima will be the next to receive an anime adaptation. With more than 90 chapters published fans are can’t wait to watch an Edens Zero anime on their silver screens.

The news came through YonkouProductions on Twitter, who has a strong track of reporting anime announcements before their official release, where he tweeted that Eden’s Zero will be receiving an anime adaptation.

If the report is to be believed then Edens Zero will be Mashima’s third work receive an anime after Fairy Tail and Rave Master. Moreover, Months ago Mashima also teased that he has four big announcements to make. The series initially started on June 27, 2018, and chapters of the series has been compiled into nine volumes of the manga series as of April 2020. Individual chapters are published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and Kodansha USA and Crunchyroll are publishing the English release.

“At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates.   1. Shiki Granbell: an enthusiastic teenager raised by the community of robots at Granbell Kingdom. He possesses Ether gear which allows him to manipulate the weight and direction of gravity for himself and others.
  2. Rebecca Bluegarden: she is an amateur B-Cuber and Shooting Starlight member from the planet Blue Garden who travels to record videos of other planets.She aims to amass one million subscribers for her account, Aoneko Channel, which suffers from low viewership due to poor-quality content.
  3. Happy: he is a blue colored android cat who served as Rebecca’s partner and friend. He can transform himself into a pair of firearms that Rebecca uses to shoot non-lethal rounds of Ether Bullets.
  4. E.M. Pino: E.M. Pino is a miniature “anti-bot” android who generates electromagnetic pulses disabling all machinery and Ether Gears within range for short periods of time, affecting friend and foe alike.
