Hiro Mashima’s Edens Zero TV Anime Officially Annouced

Edens Zero TV anime has been officially announced.

After long anticipation, Fairy Tail Author Hiro Mashima’s officially announced that his manga Edens Zero is receiving an anime adaptation. The author on twitter and shared an cool illustration which features some of the main cast characters from the series. He also asked fans to “stay tuned for incoming updates”.

The Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine also teased that the series will have an important announcement in its 29th issue on June 17. Additional details such as release date, cast, studio, episode count and staff are now expected to be announced with the 29th issue.

Fans have been anticipated a Edens Zero anime ever since, YonkouProductions, a trustable anime influencer, first talked about it. The series is currently one the most popular series read in Japan which ranked as 98th hottest Manga everyone is following in Japan at the moment.

Miro Mashima launched Edens Zero in June 2018 and since then its chapters has been compiled into nine volumes as of April 2020. Individual chapters are published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Meanwhile Kodansha USA and Crunchyroll are publishing the english release.
