Fire Force (also known as Enen no Shouboutai) ended its first season in September last year and it was immediately announced that a second season is in production. While they did revealed a key visual back in December, since then we don’t got heard much about the production. However after a long wait we finally have some updates on Fire Force Season 2.
Twitter user @fireforce_8 recently shared a visual with Season 2 character visual from two upcoming arcs.
The first three outfits are from the Chinese Peninsula arc, and Tamaki’s nun outfit on the far right is from the Fifth Pillar arc!

The first three outfits of Shinra, Arthur and Tamaki are from Chinese Peninsula arc with minimal changes, while Tamaki’s nun outfit comes from fifth Piller arc.
Fire Force Season 2 Plot
The first season covered 90 chapters from the manga with ending the Netherworld arc.
Season 2 starts off with VS. Special Fire Force Company 4 arc which is the eighth story arc of Enen no Shouboutai manga and runs from chapter 91 to 99. It follows Shinra as he meets the Battalion Commander of the Special Fire Force Company 4 Soichiro Arg to ask him about the Adolla Link and Shinra’s fight against Arthur while being controlled by a mysterious entity.
Then comes the Fifth Piller arc which covers chapter 100-111 followed by Chinese Peninsula arc. We aren’t sure how many arcs the second season is going to cover as the official episode count yet to be announced.
Enen no Shouboutai Season 2 Release Date
The ‘fire Force season 2’ release is set for July 2020. The exact premier date for Season 2 is not yet officially confirmed. But as soon as any official announcement is created, we will be bringing you updates right away. Also David Production might need delay Fire Force Season 2 due to productions issue amidst COVID-19 outbreak. The first season aired from July 5 to December 27, 2019 for 24 episodes.

Fire Force is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Atsushi Okubo in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since September 2015. 20 compiled volumes are in circulation as of April 2020.
The manga inspired a 24-episode Tv anime by David Production which premiered in July 2019. A season 2 is in production.
