Last year, a new anime series titled Gleipnir stunned everyone with its brilliant performance. It is definitely one of the best ecchi-action series of the previous year and the season finale left the fans crying out for more, and now they’re demanding to see Gleipnir Season 2. Will there be Gleipnir Season 2?
At the time of writing, Studio Pine Jam or publisher Kodansha or any other member of the production committee has not yet renewed the anime for a second season.
The anime’s first season was completed on June 28, 2020, and since then many animes have renewed for a second season after the first season finale. Unfortunately, Gleipnir is not one of these anime.

Meanwhile, in Japan, the series was one the most watched anime of the Spring 2020 season ranking high on multiple streaming websites such as the D-Anime Store, AbemaTv. On NicoVideo, Japan’s own YouTube and the biggest video hosting site, the first episode received a total of 160k views with 13k comments and the last episode reached 65k views 6k comments.
The above numbers clearly indicate how successful and popular this show actually is. The great thing is that the production has all the required source material they need to make Gleipnir Season 2. Also, the demand to see its sequel is at its peak now. So, the makers will likely give this show its much deserving green light very soon. They might even announce it this very year.
