Hey there! The tenth episode of HigeHiro was recently released on Crunchyroll and now everyone is very excited to watch its next episode. So today in this article we will talk about I Shaved. Based on the novels by Shimesaba “Hige o Soru. Soshite Joshi Kōsei o Hirō” in an ongoing manga series written by Shimesaba and drawn by Adachi Imaru which is serialized in Monthly Shoten Ace.

It is currently one of the most popular romantic-comedy series which goes by many English names such as ‘I Shave My Beard. Then I Pick Up a High School Girl’ or ‘I Shaved,  Then I Brought A High school Girl Home’. Contrary to its name it is a super wholesome and comfy series which people of all ages can read and enjoy.

In the previous episode, Ogiwara tells Sayu to come home, and the two begin to get into an argument over this. According to Ogiwara, their mother is worried about looking for her, but Sayu sees through this as their mother just doesn’t want anyone poking around in their home after it is revealed her school has been suspicious about where exactly Sayu is.

Episode 11 of HigeHiro titled “Resolve”, is set to release on June 14, 2021, at 10:30 pm JST.

As earlier confirmed on Twitter, the first season of HigeHiro is listed with 13 episodes which will air from April 5, 2021, to June 28, 2021. The two siblings then have a one on one talk together, where Ogiwara reveals that their mother has been asking him consistently if he’s found Sayu and that he will help her at every step, including helping her to buy an extra week to think about it. After Ogiwara leaves, she invites Asami over and begins to relay to both her and Yoshida more details about her past.

When she was in school, she did not put too much effort into anything, causing most people to avoid her. However she ended up befriending another girl, Yuuko, who was in a similar situation as a class social outcast and the two became good friends. During this time, Yuuko is being bullied by a group of girls who is jealous of Sayu’s looks and the attention she receives from guys and decides to take it out on Yuuko instead.

Will the Anime Come to Netflix, Hulu?

If we talk about it coming to Netflix and Hulu, that’s not gonna happen, at least for quite a while. The series might get available on Netflix after the season has concluded.

When the English dub for Hige Wo Soru will release?

Unfortunately as of writing, there is no official confirmation when the English dub for HigeHiro will release. However taking into account the fact that anime streaming giant Crunchyroll is releasing it who have been producing lots of dubs of their popular series lately along with the popularity of the source material in the English speaking countries, it is relatively safe to say that an English dub will be announced very soon.

About the series

I shaved. Then I brought home a high school girl is a Japanese light novel series written by Shimesaba with illustrations drawn by both. It has been adapted into a manga series with 3 compiled volumes available. An anime adaptation by Project No. 9 is scheduled for January 2021 release.

Office worker Yoshida has been crushing on his boss, Airi Gotou, for five years. Despite finally scoring a date with her, his confession is promptly rejected. Drunk and disappointed, he stumbles home, only to find a high school girl sitting on the side of the road. The girl, needing a place to stay the night, attempts to seduce Yoshida. Despite rejecting her advances, he nevertheless invites her into his apartment.

The next morning, the girl, introducing herself as Sayu Ogiwara, reveals that she has run away from Hokkaido all the way to Tokyo. During her six-month spree, she continually traded sexual favors for a roof over her head. Yoshida, however, remains unswayed by her seduction. Instead, he has her do a different kind of work — one that entails washing dishes and doing laundry. And so, a touching relationship between a heartbroken adult and a runaway high school girl begins.
