On July 13, 2017, a spin-off light novel called I Was a Bottom-Tier Bureaucrat for 1,500 Years, and the Demon King Made Me a Minister debuted at Gangan Online website, while a manga adaptation by Meishi Murakami of the same name was also debuted at Gangan Online website and app on January 31, 2019.
