Well tired of watching WatchMojo’s ten top anime betrayals? Then why don’t we have look at what are the Top Ten Most Shocking Anime Betrayals! for Japanese fans.

Goo ranking a Japanese ranking website recently announced the results of poll where they asked users about the most shocking betrayal they saw in anime.

Before you dive into the list, I would like to warn you that the it contains heavy spoilers (betrayals are one of the most prominent plot point for any story) from multiple Gundam series, Attack on Titan, Bleach, Lupin the third, Crayon Shin-chan and Naruto.

Of the three series that I watched (Assassination classroom, Naruto, Attack on Titan) Reiner’s betrayal will down as the most shocking betrayal I ever witnessed in any form of media. The builtup, animation, voice acting and reveal just makes it the most epic anime betrayal. Although I am surprised to see that Griffith from Berserk didn’t made it into the list.
