Hey there! Upcoming anime adaptation of Shō Aimoto’s kemono Jihen today annouced its release date. The anime was announced during a stage event at Jump Festa 2020 on December 21. According to new official announcement Kemono Jihen anime is all set to premiere on January 10, 2021. It’s official twitter account also has revealed an its first promo trailer which you check out from below:
The series will be animated by Ajia-do Animation studio with Masaya Fujimori as director, Noboru Kimura handling series composition and Nozomi Tachibana drawing the character designs.
The plot of Kemon Jihen goes as:
“When a series of animal bodies that rot away after a single night begin appearing in a remote mountain village, Inugami, a detective from Tokyo who specializes in the occult, is called to investigate.
While working the case, he befriends a strange boy who works in the field every day instead of going to school. Shunned by his peers and nicknamed “Dorota-bou” after a yokai that lives in the mud, he helps Inugami uncover the truth behind the killings—but supernatural forces are at work, and while Dorota-bou is just a nickname, it might not be the only thing about the boy that isn’t human.”
Written by Shō Aimoto, Kemono Jihen is a Japanese manga serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Square Magzine since December 2016 and so far has published 10 volumes.
