It’s Disgusting to Call This Love or KoiKimo (full form Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui in Japanese) is an upcoming age-gap romantic comedy which follows Ryo Amakusa, a sex-crazed but highly eligible bachelor with a wandering eye for women, and Ichika Arima, an ordinary otaku high school girl who is close friends with Ryō’s little sister Rio.
The anime is based on the popular manga series by Mogusu. Studio Nomad is animating the show with Naomi Nakayama (Orange) is directing it.

Fans in the USA and Canada can watch the latest episodes of Koikimo at official streaming websites such as Crunchyroll and VRV in its original Japanese dub with embedded English subs. Moreover, it is also available on Amazon Prime but only for Japan and will be added worldwide once it will finish broadcasting.
When the English dub for KoiKimo will premiere?
Sadly, currently, there is no official confirmation when the KoiKimo English dub comes out. However, taking into account the fact that Crunchyroll is one streaming the show, which are pretty popular for their simuldubs, it’s relatively safe to say that an English dub will be announced very soon once it has been approved by its producers.
How many episodes will it have?
It has been already confirmed that season 1 of It’s Disgusting to Call This Love will run for a total of 13 episodes starting from March 29, 2021, to June 14, 2021. A new episode will be released every Monday at 9:45 am JST.
Plot of the Anime
One rainy day, salaryman Amakusa Ryo is saved by a high school girl at the station. He later finds out that the girl is Arima Ichika. Ryo is somewhat of a womanizer and to repay her for saving him, he suggests giving her a kiss or going out on a date with her, in which Ichika tells him he’s creepy. This, however, opens a new door for Ryo and he falls madly in love with her. Ever since then, Ryo tries to overly express his feelings to Ichika. Ichika keeps insulting him and says he’s being creepy, but he just seems to take it as her way of showing affection towards him.
