After the long wait, My Senpai is Annoying (also known as Senpai ga Urusai Kouhai no Hanashi in Japan) is close to its premiere and fans are excited. For those who don’t know “My Senpai is Annoying” anime is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by author Shiro Manta. Studio Doga Kobo announced the anime adaptation last year in July and since then the manga readers have been waiting to see their favourite series on their silver screens.

Ryota Itoh is leading the production as the director with Yoshimi Narita overseeing the series’ scripts, Shigemitsu Abe designing the characters, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi providing music. Tomori Kusunoki, Saori Hayami, Reina Aoyama, and Aoi Koga is performing the opening theme “Annoying! San-san Week!”; Meanwhile Yui Horie is performing the ending theme “Niji ga Kakaru made no Hanashi”.

Episode 1 of My Senpai is Annoying is scheduled to release on October 10, 2021, at 1:00, AM JST and is confirmed to run for 12 episodes with a new one releasing every Sunday night.

Plot Of The Anime:

The show follows Futaba Igarashi, a diminutive and scrappy office worker who is often mistaken for a child, constantly complains about her big and boisterous coworker, Harumi Takeda. However, it is clear to Futaba’s friends and coworkers that she secretly harbours feelings for Takeda that she struggles to come to terms with.

Futaba Igarashi – My Senpai is Annoying

Viewers in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil can stream the new episodes of My Senpai is Annoying on the Official streaming site Funimation. The Premium Subscribers will get to watch episodes on the day of the Japanese release, whereas the free users will have to wait until next week to watch the premiere episodes

Meanwhile, ANIMAX Asia haS announced they will stream the show in South Asia. Wakanim has licensed the show in France, Russia, Denmark with localised subtitles.

The episodes will first air on Japanese local TV networks and then will arrive on the above-mentioned streaming platforms within 1-3 hours. Here is when the same episode will release in your region:

  • Pacific Time: 9:30 AM PDT
  • Central Time: 11:30 PM CDT
  • Eastern Time: 12:30 PM EDT
  • British Time: 5:30 PM BST

How Many Episodes season 1 of My Senpai is Annoying will have?

It has been announced that the “My Senpai is Annoying” anime will have a total of 12 episodes and which will air from October 10, 2021, to December 26, 2021. A new episode will be released every week on Sunday at 1:00 AM JST.

My Senpai is Annoying English Dub Release

At the moment of writing, there is no official confirmation when the English dub for My Senpai is Annoy will release. However taking into account the popularity of the series in English speaking countries and the fact that Funimation has licensed the show, which lately has been producing dubs for almost all of their popular shows such as Rent-A-Girlfriend, I am a Spider so what; it is relatively safe to say that an English dub will be announced very soon.

Will The Anime Come to Netflix?

If we talk about it coming to Netflix, that’s not gonna happen, at least for quite a while. The series might get available on Netflix after the season has concluded.
