Kaidou’s palace is becoming steadily engulfed in flames as the war rages on, and more and more fighters on both sides begin heading to the Live Floor.
Meanwhile, Kaidou attacks Yamato with killing intent, stating his daughter is nothing more than an enemy if she truly bears the name of Oden. Yamato remembers Kaidou imprisoning her in a cave shortly after Oden’s death along with several enemy samurai, with the group left to fight over a single serving of food.
Despite Yamato’s fears that the samurai would hate her, the warriors gave her the food without any hesitation as they treated her with the same warmth as they once did to the real Oden.
After ten days, the samurai decided to break free of the cave and confront Kaidou in order to allow Yamato to survive, despite this being suicidal for them.
Back in the present day, Yamato expresses confidence in her identity and goal and asks Kaidou why he has taken away both her and Wano’s freedom as the two of them engage in a powerful Haoshoku Haki-imbued clash.

About One Piece
The anime centers around Monkey D.
