The second season to That time I got reincarnated as a Slime will premiere in Fall 2020. Meanwhile an anime based on Shiba’s spin-off manga Slime Diaries is scheduled for Winter 2020.

Written by Fuse with illustrations by Mitz Wah, That time I get reincarnated as a Slime is Japanese light novel published by Micro Magazine.

Yen press is publishing the English release. The novel also have inspired a manga adaptation  by Taiki Kawakami published in Kodansha’s Shounen Sirius Magazine, along with a spin-off by Mirco Magazine.

Yen Press describes it as:

Lonely thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami is stuck in a dead-end job, unhappy with his mundane life, but after dying at the hands of a robber, he awakens to a fresh start in a fantasy realm…as a slime monster! As he acclimates to his goopy new existence, his exploits with the other monsters set off a chain of events that will change his new world forever!

The same inspired a 2-cour anime series by 8-bit which aired during Fall 2018.
