Sabikui Bisco or better known as Rust Eater Bisco is an upcoming adventure anime which takes place in a post-apocalyptic Japan at a time where a strange wind has rusted away everything and humanity is on brink of extinction. It is one of the most anticipated shows this season due to its bizarre setting and fresh take on the post-apocalyptic genre.

The show is based on the popular light novel series and illustrated by Shinji Cobkubo and illustrated by K Akagashi, Mocha which also has a manga adaptation by Yusuke Takahashi.

Studio Oz, a small but well-known animation studio is animating the show with Atsushi Itagaki leading the Production team as the series director with Sadayuki Murai handling the series scripts. On the other hand, we have Ai Asari and Ikariya designing the characters, and Takeshi Ueda and Hinako Tsubakiyama together are composing the series’ music.

Episode 1 of Rust Eater Bisco is scheduled to release on January 11, 2022, at 12:30 am JST and is confirmed to run for 12 episodes with a new one releasing every Tuesday night. Plot Of The Anime:

In the far future, a disaster known as the “Rusty Wind” has transformed the majority of Japan into a barren desert and left civilization in tatters. After his teacher falls prey to the rust, the roguish Bisco Akahoshi embarks on a journey through the sandy wastes to obtain a mushroom known only as of the Rust Eater, rumoured to cure the ailment. Together with the dashing young doctor Milo, the pair will have to contend with the unforgiving environment and their fellow wanderers in order to make it back alive.

Where Can I Watch Sabikui Bisco anime online? It is available on Crunchyroll, Funimation or Netflix?

Viewers in the USA, Canada, and Mexico can watch the new episodes of Rust Eater Bisco on both Crunchyroll and Funimation in its original Japanese dub with English subtitles. The Premium Subscribers will get to watch episodes on the day of the Japanese release, whereas the free users will have to wait until next week to watch the premiere episode.

On the other hand, Muse Communication has licensed the show for its audience in SouthEast Asia. The latest episodes will be available on their YouTube channel along with multiple subtitles options such as Chinese, Malay, Thai Indonesian and English.

The series is also available Wakanim for Denmark, Russia and France in local subs and worldwide on VRV.

The episodes will first air on Japanese local TV networks and then will arrive on the above-mentioned streaming platforms within 1-3 hours. Here is when the same episode will release in your region:

Sabikui Bisco English Dub Release

Unfortunately as of writing, there is no official confirmation when the English dub for Rust Eater Bisco will release. However taking into account the popularity of the series in English speaking countries and the fact the anime streaming giant Crunchyroll is streaming, who lately have been producing dubs for almost all of their popular shows such as Rent-A-Girlfriend, I am a Spider so what; it is relatively safe to say that an English dub will be announced very soon.

Will The Anime Come to Netflix?

If we talk about it coming to Netflix, that’s not gonna happen, at least for quite a while. The series might get available on Netflix after the season has concluded. Currently, the series is only available on Netflix Japan.
