After the long wait, our favourite slice-of-life romance anime “Teasing Master Takagi-San” (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san in Japanese) has returned with the third season this January. For those who don’t know “Teasing Master Takagi-San” in short known as “Takagi-San” anime is an adaptation of popular teenage romance manga by Soichiro Yamamoto published in Monthly Shounen Sunday magazine. The anime adaptation was announced in 2017 and the first season premiered in March 2018 followed by the second season in July 2019. The third season was announced on September 2021 along with a film adaptation.
It was also revealed that the third season will feature a returning staff at Shinei Animation Studio with Hiroaki Akagi as the director. Aya Takano is also returning as the character designer, with Aki Itami, Kanichi Katou, and Hiroko Fukuda as scriptwriters.
Also, Rie Takahashi and Yuuki Kaji, the voices of the titular characters Takagi-san and Nishikata, respectively, confirmed that they are also returning for the third season.
Episode 1 of Takagi-San Season 3 is scheduled to release on January 8, 2022, at 1:30 AM JST and is confirmed to run for 12 Episodes with a new one releasing every Saturday.
Plot Of The Anime:
Takagi is a master of clever antics that turn her frequent target, Nishikata, into a blushingly embarrassed wreck. But Nishikata hasn’t endured years of pranks from his childhood friend for nothing. Where Can I Watch Teasing Master Takagi-San Season 3 anime online? Is is available on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Netflix?
Viewers in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil can stream the new episodes of Takagi-San Season 3 on the Official streaming site Sentai Filmworks and HIDIVE. The Premium Subscribers will get to watch episodes on the day of the Japanese release, whereas the free users will have to wait until next week to watch the premiere episodes. Sentai Filmworks also licensed the home video and film release outside of Japan.
Meanwhile, Muse Communications announced they will stream the show in Southeast Asia in multiple subtitles including English, Thai, Vietnamese.
The episodes will first air on Japanese local TV networks and then will arrive on the above-mentioned streaming platforms within 1-3 hours. Here is when the same episode will release in your region:

- Central Time: 13:00 PM CDT
- Eastern Time: 14:00 PM EDT
- British Time: 7:00 PM BST

How Many Episodes Season 3 of Takagi-San will have?
It has been announced that the “Takagi-San” Season 3 anime will have a total of 12 episodes and which will air from January 8, 2022, to March 25, 2022. A new episode will be released every week on Saturday at 1:30 AM JST.
Takagi-San Season 3 English Dub Release
At the moment of writing, there is no official confirmation when the English dub for the third season of Takagi-San will release. However, taking in out Sentai Filmworks works around their exclusive licences we expect the English Dub to release with home video release 1-2 months after the show will be finished broadcasting.
Will The Anime Come to Netflix?
Yes, it has been confirmed by Netflix that the third season of Teasing Master Takagi-San is coming to their streaming platform. However, an exact release date wasn’t revealed.

Written by Soichiro Yamamoto, “Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san”(Teasing Master Takagi-san) is Japanese manga series published in Shogakukan‘s Monthly Shonen Sunday. Yen Press is publishing the English release of it.
The series so far has inspired three television anime, an OVA, two VR games and a spin-off manga which takes place a few years after the events of the main story and follows the life of the two main leads who are now married with their cute daughter.
