The previous episode starts with the U.S government was taking a look at the island destroyed by Park Mujin and suddenly the emergency alarm went off at pentagon and Park Pujin was there. In the next scene, Yoo Mari was on her way home and Jin Mori was kept following her and said “Are you sure you are not a gorilla” because when Mori was fighting with her sword she broke his neck and took the sword back during the tournament.
Then Jin Mori took her sword again and he accidentally doped it in a lake and got slapped by Mari as the sword was a gift from her late father. She then spent the whole evening looking for the sword and later Jin Mori also came to help her and sometime after him Daewi Han also came they were together looking for the sword.
The next day begins, everyone was preparing for there fights in the tournament Mori was sleeping and then he was threatened by Kang Manseok. All the fights stared Yoo Mari, Ma Miseon, Han Daewi, and Jin Mori won there matches. The last match was Go Gamdo Vs Kang Manseok at the beginning of the match Gamdo gave Manseok a warning that if he didn’t use both of his hands in the fight he will regret it.
During in beginning of the match, Gamdo was overpowering Manseok but later when Manseok realized his disadvantage he started using one of his hands, and with only using one of these hands he was able to defeat Gamdo. But instead of knocking him out, he started torturing him, and then he later tried to rip his handoff. But Jin Mori entered the arena and hit Manseok but Mori was instantly cornered by tournament administration he still fought Manseok and beat him to the ground. But he was also taken down by Park Mujin and it was announced that Jin Mori’s punishment for violating the rules will be announced later on and the matches will continue as planned.
Plot Of The God Of High School
The anime will be adapting the same story as the Manhwa. The protagonist Jin Mori is invited to a Martial Arts tournament called “The God Of High School” organized by a secret corporation. They conducted a tournament on the regional level and then on the national level inviting high school students from all over the country. Their goal was to find the top 3 contest ent for the international tournament and the contestant how wins the tournament will get his wish granted by the organization, no questions asked.
Jin Mori fights through different levels and with contestants having a distinct fighting style. Not only martial arts, but contestants also fight using something called borrowed power which is a power granted to a person by Gods, Demons, and other mythical creatures. He also befriended Swordswomen called Yoo Mira and Full-Contact Karate expert called Han Daewi after there fight during the tournament.
