Voice Actor Okamoto Nobuhiko Goes to Hiatus due Vocal Cord Injury

The Voice Actor Nobuhiko Okamoto popularly known as Boku no Hero Academia’s Katsuki Bakugou is going on hiatus for his medical treatment. On 29 May(Friday) Nobuhiko revealed on his personal blog that that he will be off the work starting June 1 for next 1 month.

Nobuhiko revealed that this is due to is vocal cord injury. Previously he use to somehow simultaneously manage work and treatment. But, recently his doctor has advised him get a surgery done as the the condition of his vocal cord are getting worse.

Nobuhiko has worked as a main cast in lots of super popular anime like Katsuki Bakugou in My Hero Academia, Karma in Assassination Classroom, Obi in Snow White With Red Hair, Nishinoya from Haikyu!, Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist and this season he is currently voice acting Khun in Tower Of God.

The veteran voice actor has also released many song. In 2012 released his debut single Palette which peaked ninth on weekly Oricon charts. In 2013 he released his second single Enjoy Full and has continued releasing songs since. His latest album trust and play was released on April 4, 2020. He is also a professional shogi player with a class 3 certification.
