On the sea we can be free!
Born and raised on the Oarai coast in Ibaraki prefecture , where literally big waves keep washing the beach all year round.
Masaki met a transfer student show like a prince and faced the earth with a single plate sandwiched between them.
How knew, it will be the beginning of an endless story of boys possessed by the charm of surfing.
In the teaser visual, Masaki wearing uniform taking a surfboard in the sea, receiving the refreshing breeze, is depicted in Oarai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, where the story is set.
From the shining sun and the sparkling blue sea, you can expect the sparkling story of Masaki, who devotes his youth to surfing.

The producers has announced that the Wave!! Yappe!! anime will be hitting the theaters this year. But they didn’t say anything about the exact release date.
Most probably because of the COVID-19 Coronavirus situation in Japan.
Wave!! Mobile Game Announcement
The official website announced that a mobile game for the anime is under development. However, no information was given regarding the release date for the mobile game.
Can COVID-19 Effect The Release ?
Corona situation in japan is not that great. The Japanese Prime Minister has already announced emergency till May 16.
It will all depend if the cases number goes up or not. The producers have announced that the anime will come out this year but not an exact release date.
So, the movie will probably will come out at the end of this year.

The director is Takaharu Ozaki , who worked on “Goblin Slayer” and “Girls’ Last Trip” , and the series composition is Kazuyuki Furuyasu, who works on many popular works such as “Black Clover” and “It was a slime when I reincarnated” . Anime production has been decided by Asahi Productions .
