In the upcoming few episodes, we will learn more about Samurais, an unknown country with Kawaki and much more.

Recently the Twitter user @AnafLinks shared the titles of upcoming Boruto episodes 228, 229, 230 and 231. The episode titles gives us a brief idea of what the episode will be about.

Boruto Episode 228 “Kawaki’s path towards becoing a Shinobi”, Release Date: December 12, 2021

The Episode 228 of Boruto will release on 12th December 2021 where we will see Kawaki trying to interact with various other Shinobis and spectacularly failing at that.

Summary: In order for Kawaki to become a genin, it’s been decided that he will take a special graduation exam that is different from the typical one that is administered by the Ninja Academy. If Kawaki is able to execute and complete a D-Rank mission, it would confer him with the equivalent qualifications. He immediately joins in with another team’s mission.

It’s been arranged for Kawaki to be promptly added in as a member of various teams in order to conduct missions with them. However, Kawaki has a problematic personality and a disregard for teamwork. And in addition, Kawaki keeps doing things on his own accord that inconveniences his teammates. Kawaki then causes the missions to descend into chaos and turn into awkward situations.

Boruto Episode 229 “Violating Orders”, Release Date: December 19, 2021

The next episode of Boruto is titled “Violating Orders” and is slated for December 19, 2021. It will follow Kawaki joining with Shikadai and Chou-chou in order to escort Mozuku to his hometown.

Summary: Kawaki did not do well on the exam that he needed to pass in order to attain the qualifications to become a genin. He wasn’t able to adapt himself and grow accustomed to following the rules or bonding with his fellow comrades as a shinobi. And so, Kawaki began to think that he was just not suited to become a ninja.

The Hokage then gives Kawaki a final chance: Kawaki will be given a mission to escort someone named Mozuku back to his hometown in the Lull Country, together with Nara Shikadai and Akimichi Chou-Chou. Will Kawaki be able to cooperate with his comrades this time – And will he be able to complete the mission? Meanwhile, Boruto and the rest of Team 7 have been assigned to a different mission. They happen to encounter and pass by some disguised ninja who gives them some bad vibes and an unpleasant premonition.

In the next episode, Kawaki and the company will be attacked by an unknown group of ninjas who are trying to seize the package from Mozuku.

Summary: Chou-Chou has been injured by an attack from a mysterious ninja. Moreover, Mozuku has completely lost the package that he has been carrying around. This was not going to be an ordinary escort mission. Their commanding officer -Shikadai – senses that this was going to be a dangerous mission where ninja would be targeting them. And so, Shikadai decides that they ought to return to the village at once. However, Mozuku wants to get the package back at all costs. Mozuku was entrusted to deliver it in order to help everyone back in their hometown.

Kawaki thinks about Mozuku’s situation and then decides to ignore Shikadai’s orders. Together with Mozuku, Kawaki goes in pursuit of the mysterious ninja. Kawaki alone then faces off against their formidable foe who uses peculiar Jutsu. Will Kawaki be able to protect his escort client – Mozuku – and safety get the package delivered back to Mozuku’s hometown in the Lull Country?

Boruto Episode 231 “A Rusted Sword”, Release Date: January 9, 2021

In episode 231 we will more about Land of Iron with our exchange student and member of Team 15 Tsubaki. Note that no new episode will air on January 2nd due cause the TV slot will be taken by Special Japanese New Year Celebration shows.

Summary: An incident has occurred where a travelling merchant has been attacked by robbers. lzuno Wasabi, Suzumeno Namida, and Kurogane Tsubaki of Team 15 have been assigned to investigate the situation. Then, Tsubaki makes a discovery – The evidence seems to be related to the Samurai from her hometown in the Iron Country. In addition, Tsubaki suddenly recognizes one of the perpetrator’s marks that were left behind.

She’s unable to conceal her trembling and feelings about the evidence. The reason why she reacted that way is that it’s someone whom she used to respect – They used to hone their swordsmanship skills with one another. The suspect seems to be someone who was trained under the same master as Tsubaki – a more senior disciple. It’s as if Tsubaki was destined to meet this enemy because of their connection to one another.

As of now we still don’t have the title and synopsis of episode 232 but it most likely will continue the story of Tsubaki and unknown Samurai. We will update the article once we had gotten new information.
