There Michiru meets Shirou Ogami, a wolf beast person with a grudge against humans, and she learns of the joys and hardships of life as a beast person while trying to unravel the mystery of her sudden transformation.
Meanwhile Promare is an original anime film which first premiered on May 15, 2019 and earned about $17 Million worldwide. Iroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakashima, both whom previously worked together on Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, directed and wrote the film, respectively.
GKIDS who screened the movie in US describes it as:
Thirty years has passed since the appearance of Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves “Mad Burnish” appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team “Burning Rescue,” and Lio Fotia, the leader of “Mad Burnish” begins.
