After the long anticipation, Deaimon anime is finally close to its worldwide premiere which fans are very excited about. For the unacquainted, Deaimon: Recipe For Happiness is an upcoming slice-of-life anime based on the manga by Rin Asano.

Studio Encourage Films is animating the series with Fumitoshi Oizaki as the lead director. Reiko Yoshida is responsible for series scripts with Sakae Shibuya drawing the characters and Ren Takada composing the music.

Deaimon Anime Release Date

Episode 1 of Deaimon is scheduled to release on April 6, 2022, at 11:30, pm JST and is confirmed to run for 12 episodes with a new one releasing every Wednesday night.

Plot Of The Anime:

Nagomu Irino returns to his Kyoto home for the first time in ten years when his father is hospitalized. Nagomu is eager to take over Ryokushou, the family’s Japanese sweet shop, but he’s instead asked to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihira, the girl everyone calls the successor.

Where Can I Watch Deiamon anime online? It is available on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Netflix?

Viewers in the USA, Canada, and Mexico can watch the new episodes of Deaimon on Crunchyroll in its original Japanese dub with English subtitles. The Premium Subscribers will get to watch episodes on the day of the Japanese release, whereas the free users will have to wait until next week to watch the premiere episodes. The show is also available worldwide on VRV.

Ani-One YouTube channel has licensed the show for its Asian audience. They provides thier episodes with English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Indonesian, Thai, Malay, and Vietnamese subtitles.

The episodes will first air on Japanese local TV networks and then will arrive on the above-mentioned streaming platforms within 1-3 hours. Here is when the same episode will release in your region:

  • Pacific Time: 10 AM PDT
  • Central Time: 12 PM CDT
  • Eastern Time: 1 PM EDT
  • British Time: 6 PM BST

Note that the above release time for Crunchyroll is based on the platform’s usual release pattern. Anyway, don’t fret because we’ll update this post if it isn’t a simulcast release and the release time is different.

How Many Episodes Deaimon anime will have?

It has been announced that the “Deaimon” anime will have a total of 12 episodes and which will air from April 6, 2022, to June 22, 2022. A new episode will release every week on Wednesday at 11:30 pm JST.

When Deaimon English dub for will release?

For the fans who prefer watching their anime in English dub, the good news is that Crunchyroll has already announced that Deaimon will be dubbed and they already have started the production. The dub version will is expected to premiere in early May.

Will The Anime Come to Netflix?

Netflix has acquired to license to stream the show in Japan and if things work out then the show will be added to their worldwide catalogue.

Thirty-year-old Nagomu Irino is stopped by a ten-year-old girl who mistook him for her father. Nagomu had moved away to pursue a failed music career but has returned to his family sweet shop thinking his father Heigo is ill. However, he finds Heigo robustly healthy. Heigo announces since Nagomu never learned sweet making he is an unworthy successor and the shop will be inherited by Yukihira Itsuka, the girl from the train who has been lodging and working at the shop.

Nagomu learns Yukihira’s father, a guitar player like Nagomu, abandoned her. Nagumo’s mother, Fuki, tells Nagumo if he intends to stay he should support Yukihira like a surrogate father. Nagomu tells Yukihira his grandfather thought he didn’t have the right temperament to be a sweet maker so he started learning music and eventually moved away. Yukihira takes an order for 100 handmade sweets that turns out to be a prank. Afraid of disappointing the family Yukihira tries to sell the sweets on the street and is surprised when Nagumo makes a fool of himself by playing a silly song on his guitar to attract customers. While unsure if he is a surrogate father worthy Nagumo decides to continue supporting Yukihira regardless.
