Higurashi: When They Cry – New Episode 3 Release Date, Time and Countdown
Higurashi New Episode 3 is scheduled to release on October 15, 2020 at 11:30 pm (JST). It already has been confirmed that the remake will be spilt cour where the first cour will air for 14 episodes from October 2020 to January 2021. Plot of the Anime
On one hot summer day, transfer student named Maebara Keiichi comes to a peaceful rural village in Hinamizawa. There, he befriends his classmates Rena, Mion, Rika, and Satoko. Accepted as a full-fledged member of the “club,” Keiichi and the gang plays all sorts of activities ranging from card and board games to hide-and-seek. But just as Keiichi was beginning to be assimilated in simple rural life, he stumbles upon the dark history of Hinamizawa. As Keiichi dives deeper into the mystery, he finds that his new found friends may not be all what they claim to be.
Where to Watch Higurashi: When They Cry (2020) online?
Funimation and Animelab are streaming the anime series in North America and Australia respectively. The orginal 2006 anime is also available on both services.
When the English dub version will be available?
As of writing we don’t have any information on when the English dub for Higurashi: When They Cry – New will be available. However considering the fact that Funimation is streaming it, who are known for their fast simuldubs and also how they are pushing the series on their social media handles such as the exclusive key visual the released yesterday, we can expect Funimation to announce the dub very soon.
About the series
Higurashi: When they Cry is a Japanese visual novel game developed by 07th Expansion. The first game in the series, Onikakushi-hen, was released on August 10, 2002, and the eighth and final game in the original PC series, Matsuribayashi-hen, was released on August 13, 2006. Over the years the franchise has inspired multiple manga comics, anime series, spin-offs and live-action movies.
