Phantom Seer, which translates to Honomieru Shonen, is the latest manga to join the ranks of Weekly Shonen Jump. It is the third exorcism manga which recently has been added to jump recently after Bone Collection and Ayakashi triangle. Readers really loved the first chapter for its art and edgy, yet funny main character.

The manga is written by Kento Matsuura and the art is provided by Kento Matsuura who which some of you might remember by his work in Tokyo Shinobi Squad which had quite a small run WSJ last year.

The story of Phantom Seer follows the highschool girl, Riku Aibetsu who has some sort of psychic powers which allows her to detect nearby danger but on the other is targeted by otherworldly creatures called Phantoms for the same power. She meets meets Iori Katanagi, who is also student at her school but is also a professional Shaman who helps her through his very own psychic powers.
