Kanojo, Okarishimasu which is popularly known as Rent-A-Girlfriend in the west is an upcoming romantic-comedy anime based on the manga written by Reiji Miyajima. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2017. The anime adaption was first announced last year in December and since then fans have been eagerly waiting to check out it. Thankfully we finally know when Rent-A-Girlfriend anime will exactly premiere through a newly released visual.

What is Rent-A-Girlfriend Anime Release date?
Anime influencer A.I.R confirmed on Sunday that Rent-A-Girlfriend anime will premiere on July 10, 2020. The first episode will air on Wednesday on Animeism block of MBS, TBS, BS-TBS in Japan.
Plot of Rent-A-Girlfriend
The story of Kanojo, Okarishimasu revolves around Kazuya Kinoshita who has broken up with his girlfriend Mami Nanami after dating for about a month. He uses an online app to rent a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara, a beautiful and attractive girl.
However, because she appears to be too perfect, he writes her a low rating, but then Chizuru berates him for that and reveals she is meaner than he expected. However, when Kazuya’s grandmother collapses in the hospital, he brings her along and the grandmother is smitten with how great she is.
Kazuya continues renting Chizuru in order to keep up appearances with his family and friends, but things get complicated when they discover they are next-door apartment neighbors and attend the same college. Later, other girls from the girlfriend business also join in dating and showing interest in Kazuya.
Cast and Staff of Rent-A-Girlfriend
The previously announced cast members are Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara, Aoi Yūki as Mami Nanami, Nao Tōyama as Ruka Sarashina, Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakrasawa and Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita.
TMS Entertainment which is best known for its work in Fruits Basket and Dr. Stone is producing the series. Rainy Cocoa and Welcome to Rainy Color director Kazuomi Koga are directing the series with Mitsutaka Hirota as script supervisor. Meanwhile, Kanna Hirayama is drawing the characters and HYADAIN is composing the music.
