Emma, Ray and children from Grace Field House are back this winter with The Promised Neverland Season 2.

Based on the mega-hit manga series by Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu, the second season of The Promised Neverland will follow these kids’ journey as they try to escape their demon pursuers and discovering the clues left by their supporter Minerva.

The new season will begin broadcasting from January 7th and will run for a total of 11 episodes with original scenes written by manga author Kaiu Shirai himself. It was originally supposed to air in October 2020 but unfortunately was pushed back to January 2021 due to production issues caused by the Covid-19 virus.

Synopsis of Yakusoku no Neverland Season 2

The upcoming new season will adapt the “The Promised Forest Arc” picking up from the nail-biting cliffhanger they left us at. It is the third story arc which runs from chapter 38-52.

After successfully escaping the orphanage with most of the children, Emma and Ray ventures into a world which is unknown to them. While being pursued by demons, Ray and Emma struggles to lead the children to safety while doing through the dangerous dark forest when a mysterious woman and man appears.

Viewers in USA and Canada can watch the second season on Funimation. Animelab is streaming the series in Australia and New Zealand. It is also available on Aniplus websites for Asian users. Besides that, it is also available on Hulu and Wakanim in some specified regions. Moreover, the second season will run for a total of 11 episodes starting from January 7 to March 18, 2021, and a new episode will be released every Thursday at 1:30 am JST.
