Shout! Factory announced on Monday that it is releasing the Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna on Blu-ray and DVD home video on July 7. The Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna blu-ray box will include include both the English dub and Japanese audio and English subtitles variant with bonus stuff. Moreover Joshua Seth is reprising his role as Taichi in the English dub.

About Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna

The film opened in Japan on February 21 manged to earn about $2,318,407. Also the film was originally supposed to receive a limited screening in US on March 25, but was postponed due to healthy and safely concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19.

The film is set five years after Digimon Adventure tri. With Taichi and his friends reaching adulthood, they are struck with news that the partnership with their Digimon will soon end and they will be forever separated, as they are not children anymore.

Meanwhile, a powerful Digimon called Eosmon appears, robbing other DigiDestined of their consciousness. Despite knowing that using their powers will shorten the little time they still can have together. It’s up to Taichi, Agumon and all their friends to fight together one last time to save the world.
