Due to break, this week’s Kaiju. No 8 chapter came out a but late but the wait was worth it. The series has starting to shape up and has finally showed us the main antagonist of the series who is another humanoid Kaiju but unlike Kafka he is a Kaiju who has ability to take human form. His name hasn’t been revealed yet but it seems like he was sent by Kaijus to investigate “Human world”

What will happen in next chapter 16?

Things are starting to get more interesting. The unnamed humanoid Kaiju which appeared during officers recruitment test has shown up once again. Apparently it seems like he was sent by his superior to investigate the human world. Now by using the word “world” instead of “species” raises a lot of questions about Kaiju’s origins. Are they aliens from outer space or some different world. Or else they have been living underground for all this time and finally have started to make move to conquer surface. We will definitely learn more about this in the upcoming few chapters.

Now in the upcoming chapter, Ichikawa will try to hold his ground against the newly appeared enemy till Iharu returns with reinforcements who most likely will be Kafka and Shinomiya. They will appear at the moment right before Ichikawa is about recive death shot. Also it seems like Kafka might need to transform soon if they wish defeat their enemy.

Why this series doesn’t have any scanlations/raw?

The series is currently published in Shueisha’s ShonenJump+ service, which is an online manga delivery service and chapters are only published digitally. Raw scans are not legal and they are leaked by the people using the print copy. So in this case there are slim chances of raw scans.
