Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is a heartwarming-isekai anime set to air its second season this Spring. The anime is based on novels written by Kumanano and illustrated by 029. The novels started serialization in May 2015 and have published 19 volumes so far. A manga adaptation by Kumanano is published in Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s Comic PASH! website since 2018.
Studio EMT Squared is again animating the anime adaptation with Yuu Nobuta returning as the series director. Takashi Aoshima is reprising his role as the script writer with Shigeo Komori returning as the music composer. All the main cast members are also reprising their roles.
Episode 1 of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Season 2 is set to premiere on April 3, 2023, at 10:00 PM JST and is confirmed to run for 12 episodes with a new one airing every Monday. Crunchyroll is streaming the series outside of Japan on a weekly schedule and Muse Asia is handling the distribution in South Asia.

What will happen in the Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Season 2?
The second season of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear will begin right from where we left off in the previous season adapting the fifth volume in the series. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the contents of volume 5 as such:
“The Kraken has been slain, but Yuna’s seaside commerce career is just beginning! Faced with the problem of transporting goods, the Bloody Bear sets out to establish a secure trade route between Mileela and Crimonia—even if she has to cut her way across the land with magic to do it. Internationally Crunchyroll is the latest episode of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear for their subscribers on a regular weekly schedule. The episodes at first will be available in Japanese dub with multiple subtitles options to choose from and the English dub and other localised dubs will be added later.

Plot of the Anime
The anime follows 15-year-old Yuna prefers staying home and obsessively playing her favourite VRMMO game to doing anything else, including going to school. When a strange new update gives her a one-of-a-kind bear outfit that comes with overpowered abilities, Yuna is torn: the outfit is unbearably cute, but too embarrassing to wear in-game. But then she suddenly finds herself transported into the world of the game, facing down monsters and magic for real, and the bear suit becomes the best weapon she has!
