The Listeners season 1 is slated with 12 episodes which premiered on April 12 and will end on June 20, 2020. Listeners Episode 4 will release on April 25 at 1:55 am JST ( April 26 effectively). You can expect a new episode every Friday.

Listeners is an original anime produced by Mappa and created by Musician Jin with Eureka Seven writer Dai Sato who is also credited for script writing. Hiroaki Ando is directing the series.
In a world without music, young Echo was there the day legendary “Prayer” Jimi Stonefree and his mecha disappeared while fighting the mysterious Earless.
Ten years later, he meets an amnesiac young girl named Mu who has an input jack on her back. Could she be a “Prayer” like Jimi? Together they set off on a journey to unravel her past and save humanity.
