“Only 5% story remains before Attack on Titan Ends” – Hajime Isayama said in a latest interview

Hajime Isayama, the author of Attack on Titan today said in a interview with TBS channel that only 5% story is remaining before Shingeki no Kyojin manga ends. That be around 6-8 more chapters and as a new chapter comes out on weekly basis,so one can expect the series to end between February to April.

The upcoming Attack On Titan The Final Season will adapt the whole manga to its very end. A week ago it debuted its first trailer and visual. It was also confirmed that MAPPA will animate the last season with Yuichiro Hayashi as director.

Isayama launched the series in September 2009 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine and as of April 2020 its individual chapters has been collected into 31 volumes.

Wit Studio animated the first three seasons along with two compilation movies and several OVAs. A Hollywood live-action is said to be under development. Mappa is producing the final season with a new compilation movie set to premiere in July 2020 in Japanese theatres.

The story takes in a world where the last remnants of humanity live within a walled city in order to escape the danger of the Titans, a race of giants monsters that eats humans. The lead character, Eren Yeager, ends up joining the military with his two childhood friends Mikasa and Armin after the Titans break through the wall and attack his hometown. Now Eren, Mikasa, and Armin must survive in a world where they not only have the Titans to fear, but the very humans they are trying to save.
