Aside from the Live-Action movie it seems like The Promised Neverland is getting a TV series adaptation.
According to a report by Variety, Amazon has ordered a live-action The Promised Neverland TV series, with Rodney Rothman as director and executive producer and Meghan Malloy as writer.
Rodney Rothman previously co-wrote and co-directed Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, and Meghan Malloy assisted Jon Favreau in writing The Chef and The Jungle Book.
Also Masi Oka who previously produced Netflix’s take on Death Note along with upcoming Mega Man and Attack on Titan Hollywood live-action is on-board as executive producer. Amazon Studios and Fox 21 Television Studio will produce the series.
The manga will end its serialization this week’s issue of Weekly Shonen jump and the second season is set to premiere in January 2021.

The Promised Neverland is a Shonen manga written by Kaiu Shirai and drawn by Posuka Demizu is Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media is publishing the series in English, digitally and in print.
Manga inspired an anime series by A1 pictures which ran for 12 Episodes in January 2019. A live action adaptation is set to release in December 2020.
The series centers around Emma, Norman and Ray, the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoys a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes and the perfect environment to learn – what more could an orphan ask for? One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing.
