Dead Mount Death Play is an upcoming reverse-isekai anime based of the manga series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto.
The anime adaptation was announced in November 2022 and will be animated by Studio GEEKTOYS, the acclaimed studio behind anime like Ningen Fushin, Date a Live and Hensuki.
The show follows a Necromancer called The Corpse God is fighting against the Church, which is trying to subjugate him. Using his last ounce of power against the Calamity Crusher, he gets defeated, but his reincarnation magic activates.
Suddenly, he got transported to a world of modern society and in the body of kid Polka Shinoyama.
