One Punch Chapter 172 Release Date, Time and Countdown
The One Punch Man manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata is published in Shueisha’s Tonori no Young Magazine which is released on weekly basis every Wednesday. However, the OPM manga has a very unusual release schedule and the author is allowed to publish the chapter whenever he wishes. In most cases, the new chapters are released every other Wednesday Since the previous ch i.e. ch 171 was published on September 21st, the One Punch Man Chapter 172 will either release on Wednesday, 20th October 2022 at 12:00 AM (JST). The chapter title has not been announced yet.
The chapter was originally supposed to release on October 5th but was delayed as Murata and his staff are currently busy finishing the latest volume,

Saitama is happy he has found the remains of his destroyed apartment and hoists the entire building up. Black Sperm hides in sheer terror; as a monster of incredible speed and having witnessed it was indeed Saitama who defeated an Awakened Garou in a single punch, he realizes the bald hero is the last person he wants to encounter.
Genos spots something, which worries Black Sperm; the cyborg picks up Overgrown Rover, now much smaller and more calm, to Saitama’s surprise, having forgotten he had fought Rover. Black Sperm is shocked again to see another of his fellow executive, though he notices the dog-like monster now so much smaller and weaker. As he reasons it would be wiser to run away, unwilling to face eithr Saitama and Genos, he notices Saitama treating Rover like an ordinary dog. Saitama reveals to Genos he had always had an affinity to dogs, as Rover licks his face.
Before Genos can worry about the feeding costs of Rover, he receives a message from the Hero Association and leaves. Believing there is no safer place than under the protection of an extremely powerful being, Black Sperm makes up his mind and swallows his pride. He leaps out from hiding and jumps around while making funny noises, to Saitama’s confusion.

What is One Punch Man about?

Manga inspired an anime series by Studio Madhouse in 2015 for 12 episodes. J.C. Staff then produced a second season in 2019 which also ran for 12 episodes. A live-action adaptation by Sony is in development.
The story centres around Saitama who started out being a hero just for fun. After three years of “special” training, he became so powerful that he can defeat opponents with a single punch. Now, alongside Genos, his faithful cyborg disciple, Saitama is ready to begin his official duties as a professional hero working with the Hero Association.
