Chainsaw Man chapter 140 will release on Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 at 12:00 AM in Japan. As reported earlier on twitter the series will be now updated on a bi-weekly basis.

Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto has been moved from Weekly Shounen Jump magazine to thier online manga service Jump+. has been a change in its release schedule where the new chapters now will come out every other week on Tuesdays instead of Sundays.

Chainsaw Man chapter 129 Plot and Summary

Drifting into consciousness, Asa notes that there seem to be two Chainsaw Men, before her thoughts are interrupted by a mass of clawed tendrils shooting out trying to grab her. Denji and her leap out of a doorway, arriving back on Earth. Asa is separated from Chainsaw Man, who is bleeding from the stomach due to the tendril attack.

Yoru appears beside Asa, ordering her to finish him off and in exchange, she’ll return her body. However, she becomes dismayed as soon as she notices Asa begin to hesitate, before yelling at her, frustrated that she does the opposite of what she says. Grabbing a rock, Asa jabs at her palm, causing both of them to scream in pain, before using the blood to revive Denji. Yoru is irritated that her mortal enemy is being saved, whilst Asa explains that Chainsaw Man has gone out of his way to save her twice, and that watching him has inspired her to keep on living.

Another spiked tendril appears out of the doorway the trio escaped from, causing Asa to scream for Chainsaw Man to save her. Just as the tendril is about to strike them, Denji is revived, picking them up and leaping onto cars and building walls in an attempt to evade the demon.

What is Chainsaw Man about?

However, his ill-fated life comes to an end when he is murdered by a devil in contact with the Yakuza. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Pochita merges with Denji’s dead body and grants him the powers of a chainsaw devil. Now able to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, a revived Denji uses his new abilities to quickly and brutally dispatch his enemies.
